Aimee Nezhukumatathil is the author of the award-winning collections of poetry, MIRACLE FRUIT and AT THE DRIVE-IN VOLCANO. Awards for her writing and teaching include the Pushcart Prize, a poetry fellowship from the National Endowment of the Arts, and the SUNY Chancellor's Medal of Excellence. She is associate professor of English at SUNY-Fredonia.
