I-5 by Summer Brenner

Anya is the victim of deception. Young, but already worn, she is one of the anonymous thousands of women held against their will as sex slaves, lured from often desperate situations and poverty under false pretenses, kept under lock and key while working off ever increasing "debt." Constantly moved from place to place to prevent bonding with customers or the other girls, their life is bleak. But Anya is tough & a fighter, unwilling to lose her identity. With the promise dangled that her "liberty is near" she is transported yet another time, from L.A. to Oakland up I-5. These scenes are taken from the novel "I-5: A Novel of Crime, Transport & Sex" by Summer Brenner (2009, PM Press www.pmpress.org) and was adapted by director/digital cinematographer Jai Jai Noire. Starring Artem Mishin, Lipa, Alexander Shkolnikov.
